China Tea was appraised as No. 1 on the list of “Top 100 Tea Producers in China, 2007” on the Chinese Tea Economic Annual Meeting organized by China Tea Marketing Association.
Under the guidance by and support from COFCO and China Tushu, China Tea adopted brand strategy facing new domestic and international market structure and successfully set up “China Tea”, ”Monkey King”, ”Butterflies”, ”Bank” and other well-known brands. The efforts laid a solid foundation for China Tea to stand out of fierce competition with eye-catching sales.
The Meeting also released a list of “Top 10 Economic Figures of Tea Industry in China 2007”, Wei Saiming, General Manager of Fujian Tea Import & Export Co., Ltd. and Wang Guiqing, Xiamen Tea Import & Export Corp. were on the list.
