The Fortune Magazine published this year’s list of the 500 best performing companies on July 8. COFCO ranks at the 312nd, compared with the 335th last year. COFCO has been listed consecutively since 1994.
There are a total of 54 Chinese companies listed, making a new record. COFCO ranks at the 28th among them and is the only agri and food company.
The first ten is Wal-Mart Stores, Royal Dutch Shell, Exxon Mobil, BP, Toyota Moter, Japan Post Holdings, SinoPec, State Grid, AXA and PetroChina.
